Find awe is one thing, keeping it, is another.

I think we can find awe in the fact we no longer feel awe, it can never go away. It's an idea I'm playing with and I do not yet know how it will end up, but it has revealed some amusing perspectives in day to day life.

Interesting. Children (and dogs) have it and then we f… it up.

That is a fact.

For sure, keeping the consistency to do anything worthwhile is the fight of our times.

I ought to turn towards finding awe within the human body more frequently, every day of my studies teaches me such inspiring things about it! Also, I feel like more and more, repetition of both mundane and extraordinary things forms the basis of a life well-lived. We just have to choose the right acts and things to repeat. More awareness and good conversation, more thought and song. Less social media, less processed foods. Less superficial arguments and less anxiety about acts we cannot control...

And I'm glad Carson made it through this upset, he's a real warrior!

I couldn't agree more on al fronts. And when it comes to embodiment, you have an incredible opportunity to apply all of that learning in real time. I'm stoked to hear how the efforts go. And thank you—he is a stud. I took him for a ruck and he was on fire. It made his day, and mine.

Mmm. I can’t express how strongly I’m wishing Carson a quick recovery. Humans can get a condition called Bell’s Palsy which is an impingement on a cranial nerve. It results in the same facial drop that a stroke can present with. My wife got it when she was pregnant with our second child. The good news is that it doesn’t involve the brain and resolves over time.

I have no idea if dogs can get Bell’s Palsy, or if it’s even helpful to know if that is what Carson is dealing with. I guess I’m just saying I have an inkling of the feelings you describe and again, I’m wishing the two of you the best!
